We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary teams at Leeds Walk-in Centre and Leeds General Infirmary. This is a new role due to the growth of the service and an enhanced model of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and plan care for patients, including prescribing medications where clinically indicated.
- Manage acute presentations to the Walk-In Centre as part of a team of autonomous Practitioners.
- Use clinical knowledge and skills to determine urgency and best pathway for patients presenting to the Walk-in Centre.
- First Level registered Nurse (NMC), HCPC professional, or Pharmacist.
- MSc or equivalent in Advanced practice.
- Advanced Physical Assessment and Consultation Skills Level 7.
- Minor Illness Level 7.
- A Non-medical prescribing qualification.
- Minimum 3-year experience post-level 7 qualifications in primary/urgent post qualification.
- NHS Pension with 20.6% employer contribution.
- 25 days/200 hours/5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, which rises with length of service.
- Extra days leave for work anniversary each year.
- Up to 5 days per year Special and Significant Event Leave.
- Unsocial hours payment at 30%, Monday to Friday after 6pm and all-day Saturday and Sunday.
