Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our Emergency & Acute Medicine Service as a Band 7 Business & Governance Manager based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The successful candidate will have the ability to support the operational delivery of the Service, with responsibility for a full range of professional administrative, Governance and clerical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational delivery of the Emergency & Acute Medicine Service
  • Manage a full range of professional administrative, Governance and clerical services
  • Direct oversight of all Emergency & Acute Medicine, South Sector USC reporting
  • Manage USC performance targets
  • Input to other aspects of the service, including Complaints, SAERs, and SPSO cases
  • Proven leadership and support to admin/waiting list managers

Requirements

The post holder will work alongside and report directly to the General Manager. Working Arrangements

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
