About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Perinatal Mental Health team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in improving the psychological health and wellbeing of women using our Perinatal Mental Health Service, their babies, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a Clinical Psychology service to individuals using the Perinatal Mental Health service, as a key component of services provided by Devon Partnership NHS Trust.
  • Carry a specialist caseload of clients, and provide advice and consultancy to clients, family members, carers, and professionals.
  • Provide clinical supervision for trainees and volunteers employed by, or attached to, the Perinatal Mental Health Teams, and to the Psychology Service, as required.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within professional and Trust guidelines.
  • Receive regular professional and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and to Professional Practice Guidelines set out by the British Psychological Society.
  • Observe, and abide by all relevant Professional Codes of Conduct and Practice. The post holder will be fully registered with the appropriate recognized professional body.
