Overview of the Position

We are excited to present an opportunity for you to become a part of our team as a **Capacity and Availability Operations Manager**. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the effective management of IT resources to align with both immediate and long-term business requirements, overseeing the processes related to Capacity, Availability, and Demand. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the successful management of our client functions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and our broad client network to anticipate future requirements, address capacity challenges, and enhance performance through proactive management of issues.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Capacity Management, Availability, and Demand Processes: ensuring policies and activities are executed efficiently.
  • Capacity Planning and Forecasting: developing strategies for current and future demands, monitoring IT resource utilization, and predicting needs in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: acting as a subject matter expert on capacity and availability matters.
  • Performance Enhancement: evaluating incidents and challenges to improve performance and ensure service levels are achieved.
  • Reporting and Relationship Development: generating comprehensive reports and managing related actions to foster effective working relationships.

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Capability to create training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, integration, and architectural concepts.
  • Awareness of interrelations across systems and the Service Management Framework.
  • Proficient in quality documentation and report writing.
  • General management skills and problem-solving capabilities are preferred.

This position requires Security Check (SC) Clearance.
