Overview of the Role

We are excited to present an opportunity for you to become part of our team as a **Capacity and Availability Operations Manager**. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the effective management of IT resources to align with both present and anticipated business requirements, overseeing the Capacity, Availability, and Demand Management processes. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the successful management of our client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Capacity Management and Availability & Demand Processes: efficiently overseeing related policies and activities.
  • Capacity Planning and Forecasting: developing strategies for current and future demands, monitoring IT resource utilization, and predicting requirements in line with service level agreements.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: acting as a subject matter expert for issues related to capacity and availability.
  • Performance Enhancement: evaluating incidents and challenges to improve performance and ensure service levels are achieved.
  • Reporting and Relationship Management: generating comprehensive reports and managing related actions to foster effective working relationships.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Capability to create training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, integration, and architectural concepts.
  • Knowledge of interrelations across systems and the Service Management Framework.
  • Proficient in documentation and report writing.
  • General management and problem-solving skills are preferred.

Security Clearance Requirements

This position requires Security Check (SC) Clearance.
