About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team at Binnies. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering environmental consultancy projects to meet our clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute projects in terms of scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Manage technical teams' time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage multi-discipline and cross-sector projects.
  • Drive innovation and efficiencies into project delivery.
  • Ensure health and safety is at the heart of all projects.
  • Understand what the client wants and deliver accordingly.
  • Work with our proposals teams to ensure smooth transition from project tender to delivery.
  • Assess the technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process.
  • Create and review proposals and costings for new projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in an Environment-related field.
  • Passion to deliver sustainability to clients and projects.
  • Ambition for a project management role covering environmental projects.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communicator with staff, clients, and partners.
  • Understanding of consultancy commercial models for both project delivery and tender development.
  • Collaborative individual that effectively builds teams.
  • Be driven to develop and improve technical skills and advance career.
