Senior General Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior General Manager to lead our productions on tour, in the West End, and internationally. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in general management, including experience with large-scale productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production process from start to finish, overseeing budgets, schedules, negotiations, and recruitment of production staff.
  • Work closely with the Executive Producer, Managing Director, and Head of General Management to deliver productions to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, authors, co-producers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful productions.
  • Manage budgets and spend, including delivering to sales targets, and negotiate contracts as required.
  • Lead and motivate a team, ensuring the performance, wellbeing, and career development of team members.
Requirements
  • Significant general management experience, including on large-scale productions.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in line management, looking after the performance, wellbeing, and career development of team members.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with high-level stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in budgeting and spend management, including delivering to sales targets.
  • Experience in negotiating and drafting a wide variety of contracts.
