Job Title: Executive Producer

We are seeking a talented Executive Producer to join our team at Dmgmedia. As an Executive Producer, you will be responsible for producing, editing, and shooting original shows designed for YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and produce high-quality, engaging content for our YouTube channel.
  2. Work closely with the senior producer/showrunner to set the direction of the show and contribute to conversations around development, episode ideas, and technical aspects of production.
  3. Pitch episode ideas and continuously improve the quality of the show.
  4. Analyze show performance using data to understand which parts of the show are working and which aren't.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in producing, editing, or shooting long-form videos.
  2. A deep understanding of YouTube as a platform and a world-class story sense.
  3. Ability to clearly communicate and give detailed, specific feedback.
  4. A willingness to pivot when an idea doesn't work out as planned.
  5. A deep understanding of the principles of good journalism.
