Job Opportunity

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Fellow to join our team in Haematology/Oncology. As a Clinical Research Fellow, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Directors and investigators in the running of clinical studies for patients in the CRF, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, and Wessex Research Hubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and conduct of studies, including the submission and maintenance of regulatory documents, recruitment of subjects, and providing medical cover.
  • Work to ensure that all studies are conducted to Good Clinical Practice.
  • Contribute to an on-call study phone rota and work flexible hours as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years post-registration general/acute medicine experience and MRCP or equivalent.
  • Keen to learn more about clinical research and interested in further research training (MD/PhD).
