Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in a key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective supervision of all responsive repairs works in their allocated area.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
  2. Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  3. Manage all aspects of the delivery of works, including provision of specifications and quotes, liaison with planners on work allocation and follow-on works, and ensuring plant and materials are scheduled accordingly.
  4. Support other departments, such as voids, when required.
  5. Support on a rota basis the out-of-hours (OOH) supervisor call-out.
  6. Conduct effective one-to-ones and performance development plans (PDPs).
  7. Create and deliver on learning opportunities for team members through effective talent management and career and succession planning.
  8. Promote and encourage information and knowledge sharing between team members.
  9. Carry out toolbox talks.
  10. Provide support and advice on all works-related matters.
  11. Plan, allocate, and evaluate team and individual workload, providing additional resources where necessary.
  12. Put safety and health at the heart of decision-making, creating an environment where ideas are freely expressed.
  13. Control and oversee the work in progress, ensuring works in progress are managed and closed down accurately.
  14. Ensure all aspects of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) are adhered to at all times.
  15. Ensure the progress of work adheres to contractual requirements.
  16. Maintain records, including details of plant, machinery, progress, resources, etc.
  17. Attend any ad-hoc inspections.
  18. Assist in any hand-over process.
  19. Employ processes that add value to customers and people.
  20. Support in the resolution of complaints.
  21. Report on and support any H&S incidents that occur.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience within the repairs sector.
