Job Summary:

Crimson is seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Dynamics 365 CE practice, you will be responsible for leading large customer engagements from estimation to handover, working closely with other practices and third-party organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Solution Delivery: Play a lead role in solution delivery, leading a team of functional and technical consultants to ensure smooth delivery and a unified approach.
  2. Participate in Solution Implementation: Participate in every aspect of the solution implementation, from leading workshops and analyzing customer requirements to configuring D365 CE applications and environment/release management.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the customer organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining a full understanding of current business processes.
  4. Provide In-Depth Knowledge: Provide in-depth knowledge of D365 CE applications and evaluate the customer's business processes against standard D365 CE functionality.
  5. Project Management: Provide project management for smaller D365 CE implementations, including budget, resource, and milestones reporting, supported by Crimson's PMO function.
  6. Document Business Requirements: Document business requirements that express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
  7. Pre-Sales Support: Provide pre-sales support, including demonstrations and estimations, supporting Crimson Sales and Consultancy teams as required.
  8. Facilitate Decision-Making: Facilitate the customer's decision-making process and develop the functional design document that will drive the development process.
  9. Conduct Acceptance Testing: Conduct acceptance testing and train customer resources to successfully adopt and maintain the D365 CE solution.
  10. Industry Experience: Have industry experience and understand challenges and risks when implementing vertically aligned applications.

Technical Skills:

  1. Design and Configure Solutions: Design, create, and configure D365 CE/Power Platform solutions implementing Crimson's 'low code, no code' approach.
  2. Dynamics 365 CE Product Experience: Have experience with D365 CE/CRM product on the following:
    1. Sales: Lead/Opportunity/Quote/Order/Invoice
    2. Marketing and Campaigns: Add-ons e.g., Click Dimensions/MailChimp/Microsoft Dynamics Marketing
    3. Service and Case Management: SLAs and Entitlements
  3. Complex Field Types: Understand and implement complex field types (Rollup/Calculated/Customer)
  4. Dynamics 365 CE Security Model: Understand the Dynamics 365 CE security model and which components of the system can be restricted by security
  5. JavaScript: Ability to write and interpret JavaScript within the context of D365 CE
  6. Power Automate: Ability to extend solutions using complimentary Office 365/Power Platform technologies such as Power Automate - Create and maintain complex Power Automate flows implementing different trigger events, trigger filtering, and multiple actions
