SEN Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a welcoming school in Bournemouth. The school caters to students aged 10-16 across five classes, providing a supportive and enriching environment for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the Role:
  • Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • Location: Bournemouth
  • Pay: £84.50 - £91.00 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 or small group assistance to students with SEN in their academic and personal development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Supporting students in a nurturing environment with access to sensory rooms, reflective spaces, and calm rooms to help them regulate emotions and stay focused.
  • Helping students engage with a range of sensory and therapeutic resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
