Job Title: Domestic Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Waterloo Lodge School. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school environment.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are clean and tidy, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, including toilets, kitchens, and other areas.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all areas of the school are clean and tidy, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of our facilities, including toilets, kitchens, and other areas.
  • Empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated areas.
  • Separate waste, including recycling.
  • Wash, dust, and polish surfaces, including floors, walls, and tables.
  • Clean toilet areas, including replenishing toilet rolls and soap.
  • Undertake deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning skirting boards, walls, and internal and external door glass.

Waterloo Lodge School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 11 to 18. We cater for pupils with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Manchester, and surrounding areas.
