About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Structural Integrity Specialist to join our Nuclear Services team.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the structural integrity of pressure equipment in nuclear new build projects across the UK.

You'll provide technical leadership and advice to resolve issues during the design, manufacture, and commissioning stages, ensuring a robust safety case for the plant's operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the structural integrity safety case for key components in nuclear new build projects
  • Provide technical leadership and advice to resolve issues during the design, manufacture, and commissioning stages
  • Ensure a robust safety case for the plant's operation
  • Guide the structural integrity of pressure equipment to align with safety case requirements
Requirements

You should be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience) in a subject relevant to Structural Integrity and have significant experience in the nuclear or high-hazard industries.

You'll need to be skilled at working autonomously, analysing complex, high-impact issues, and making recommendations that balance safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

You'll also need to be a collaborative problem-solver who can bring people together to find solutions and have a strong background in authoring, reviewing, or acting as Case Officer for Structural Integrity safety cases.
