About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety-critical software systems that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks in software development.
  • Conduct thorough safety analyses and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software systems remain safe and secure.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, software engineering).
  • Proven experience in software safety and assurance, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., BS EN 61508, RTCA-DO-178 A/B/C).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
