Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of our software systems.

About the Role:

You will work on a variety of high-impact projects, including:

  • Developing safety-critical software for aerospace and defense applications
  • Designing and implementing AI-based systems for rail infrastructure maintenance
  • Working on torpedo safety electronics and submarine command and control systems
  • Providing consultancy on safety engineering for innovative technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with industry safety standards, such as BS EN 61508 and RTCA-DO-178
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safety-critical solutions
  • Drafting and reviewing safety documentation and liaising with clients
  • Meeting the requirements for UK SC clearance
