Job Title: Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer to join our team at Revorec Recruitment Solutions. As a Senior Software Safety Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the development of high-integrity software systems that meet the strict regulatory demands of industries such as Aerospace, Defence, Rail, and Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, including BS EN 61508 and RTCA-DO-178
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safety-critical solutions
  • Draft and review safety documentation and liaise with clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety engineering strategies

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working on high SIL/DAL projects
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • UK national with eligibility for SC clearance
