Job Title: Personal Assistant for Active Young Adult
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 10 hours per week
Rate: £11.44 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and patient Personal Assistant to support an active and outgoing 21-year-old man with Asperger's and mobility difficulties. The ideal candidate will be able to promote safety while out in the community and have a good sense of humour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany the client to social and leisure activities
- Support the client to remain independent
Requirements:
- Outgoing and patient personality
- Ability to promote safety while out in the community
- Good sense of humour
- Reliable and punctual
- Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential)
Training and Support:
- Safeguarding Adults/Children training
- First Aid training
- Autism/Asperger's training
Transportation:
- Full UK driving license
- Own personal car (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to drive a motability equipped car
