Principal DevOps Engineer AWS GitOps Argo CD

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team in London. As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing DevOps processes, building CI/CD pipelines, and taking ownership of client platforms with a focus on migrating legacy systems to AWS.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement DevOps processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD and GitLab CI/GitLab Runners
  • Take ownership of client platforms and lead the migration of legacy systems to AWS
  • Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal deployment, scaling, and management of applications
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure infrastructure and application performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with AWS, including migration of legacy systems
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps culture
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Argo CD
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or similar STEM discipline
