Senior DevOps Engineer - Salary: £100,000 per year

At DevOps Pro Europe 2022, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

  • You are a seasoned DevOps Engineer with experience in migrating legacy systems to AWS within a financial services or banking environment.
  • You have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps culture.
  • You possess strong AWS experience.
  • You have experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD and managing them via GitLab CI / GitLab Runners.
  • You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
  • You are skilled in automating processes using Helm for managing Kubernetes deployments.
  • You hold a degree in Computer Science or a similar STEM discipline.
  • You exhibit collaborative qualities and possess great communication skills.

Your Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join our team to work on Greenfield projects for various well-known global clients.
  • You will be responsible for automating and optimizing DevOps processes.
  • You will build out CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will take ownership of client platforms, focusing on migrating legacy systems to AWS for a major client.
  • You will develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
  • You will manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
  • You will implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • You will develop monitoring and logging solutions.
  • You will troubleshoot infrastructure or application performance issues.
