Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

At Oculus Legal Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential property law and be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.
  • Conduct lease extensions and auction transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and introducers.
  • Comply with all internal and external audits.
  • Share information and best practice with colleagues.
  • Follow the firm's detailed policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Extensive and sound experience of working in residential conveyancing, including complex aspects.
  • Working knowledge of referral arrangements and strong awareness of compliance issues.
  • Business development skills.
  • IT literate with an understanding and willingness to pioneer and embrace system development to build efficiencies.
  • Experience of building relationships with both new and existing clients and professionals.
