Job Opportunity

Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive

Oculus Legal Group is seeking an exceptional Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our recognised Residential Property team based in Spalding. We are looking for a solicitor or someone with 2+ years post-qualification experience who has a solid background in Residential Property matters and wishes to make a move into this exciting and continually growing area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages of residential leasehold and freehold property (registered, unregistered, new builds)
  • Carry out lease extensions and auction transactions
  • Manage and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and introducers
  • Comply with all internal and external audits
  • Share information and best practice with colleagues wherever possible
  • Follow the firm's detailed policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive and sound experience of working in residential conveyancing, including the more complex aspects
  • Working knowledge of referral arrangements and strong awareness of compliance issues
  • Business development skills
  • IT literate with an understanding and willingness to pioneer and embrace system development to build efficiencies
  • Experience of building relationships with both new and existing clients and professionals
