We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist to join our team in Geriatric Medicine. As a key member of our clinical services, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to patients and clients.
About the role:
- Deliver specialist geriatric care to assigned patients and clients, providing high-level expertise, consultation, and advice as needed.
- Participate actively in quality improvement, risk management, peer review, and audits, demonstrating positive change and supporting national and college quality standards.
- Undertake self-initiated reflective practice and maintenance of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain professional competence and expertise.
- Provide clinical governance and supervision of staff reporting to you, including junior medical staff.
