Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement maintenance plans for new/existing production lines and facilities to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and facilities.
  2. Conduct fault finding and solving technical issues on equipment across the plant to achieve maximum performance from the production lines.
  3. Propose and implement improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at optimizing machine operation and usability with a particular focus on energy efficiency.
  4. Complete/implement TPM, PPM, and routine maintenance schedules for machines across the site.
  5. Respond to time-critical breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption to the production process.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Time served/Qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
  2. Extensive knowledge of maintenance activities with the use of CMMS systems.
  3. Experience in data analysis through such systems to focus activities for greater results.
  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  5. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings to support manufacturing and machine improvements; experience in design software such as AutoCAD would be beneficial but not essential.
  6. Manufacturing background with ideal experience being within conduit production machinery including CNC.
  7. Machining experience in a maintenance setting using tooling such as lathes, milling, grinding, drilling, welding, etc.
  8. Strong understanding of conduit system products.
