Key Responsibilities- Lead the Market Intelligence Team: Align with internal objectives, mission, and values, and lead the WMI team in the UK and internationally.
- Deliver High-Quality Research: Grow the market intelligence portfolio, increase profitability, and expand its reputation through top-quality research.
- Provide Vision and Strategy: Set commercial and financial targets, develop an operational plan, and implement the agreed strategy.
- Manage Budgetary Responsibilities: Oversee budgetary responsibilities (P&L) for WMI, including overseas business.
- Ensure Efficient Internal Processes: Maintain excellence in market research standards, ensure quality, validity, and reliability, and operate in compliance with corporate policies.
- Explore Business Development Opportunities: Identify opportunities for business development, including new products and services, and represent the organisation at events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Extensive Business Experience: Strong financial literacy, communication, and leadership skills, with in-depth knowledge and experience with research methodologies and their applications.
- Strong Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: Proficient at generating, managing, and analysing data, with advanced interpersonal skills across societal and business boundaries.
- International Experience: Capable of working with international teams across various geographies and cultures, with proficiency in using a variety of software packages.
- Relevant Education: A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
