About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining high cleanliness standards and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas of the service
  • Assist in various housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and waste management
  • Support service users in maintaining their personal spaces and promoting independence
  • Work collaboratively with the Unit Manager and other team members to achieve shared goals
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and health and safety training, including COSHH regulations
Requirements
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use relevant software
  • Respect for all aspects of Christian worship
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and completion of necessary vetting checks
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including a rota system
