Job Title: Autism Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support to students with autism spectrum conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with autism, promoting their social skills, communication, and independence.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each student.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in autism support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with autism, preferably in a school setting.
  • Understanding of autism spectrum conditions and effective support strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of young people.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
