We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Head of Engineering Transformation and Continuous Improvement. This is a unique opportunity to drive business growth and improvement within our Engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Coach the Engineering Organization: Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Engineering organization, leading teams and engaging business leaders in analyzing performance, determining processes, and implementing improvements.
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Own the Engineering improvement process, lead, facilitate, and coach the Engineering leadership team in creating and implementing improvement journeys, develop and lead a team of Improvement Champions, and own the training and coaching of Lean Improvement Tools.
- Problem Solving Capability: Work with the VP Engineering and Engineering Leadership team to determine the tools required and scope of Problem Solving Training across the function, support the Business Transformation and CI in implementing a training program to certify individuals as Six-Sigma Green and Black Belts, and ensure the Engineering function has a pool of skilled personnel in tools such as 8D and Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC).
- Drive Engineering Improvement Workstreams: Organize and lead teams in analyzing performance, determining processes, and implementing improvements, and drive the implementation of the Improve Tool within SEATS GB, supported by training and monthly reporting of CI improvement initiatives.
- Experience of Lean deployment, Training and Coaching, and Problem Solving 8D
- Experience of QRQC and Six-Sigma methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation projects with business-level results
- Strong Facilitation and Change Management skills
