About the Role

Safran Seats is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Engineering Transformation and Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts. As the Head of Engineering Transformation and CI, you will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement within our Engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Engineering improvement process, leading and facilitating the Engineering leadership team in creating and implementing improvement journeys.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Engineering organization, developing and leading a team of Improvement Champions to engage, coach, and support in the implementation of this journey.
  • Owning the training and coaching of Lean Improvement Tools, driving engagement with Participative Innovation across the Engineering function.
  • Support the engineering function in improving their processes and tools, leading the implementation of the Improve Tool within SEATS GB, supported by training and monthly reporting of CI improvement initiatives.
  • Working with the VP Engineering and Engineering Leadership team to determine the tools required and scope of Problem Solving Training across the function, supporting the Business Transformation and CI in implementing a training and certification program for Six-Sigma Green and Black Belts.
  • Coach, train, and mentor employees in problem-solving methodology and the use of CI tools, driving Engineering Improvement Workstreams by organizing and leading teams in analyzing performance, determining processes and tools to improve, and driving the programs and governance to implement the improvements.
