Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Assistant to join our team in the Pathology Department. As an Imaging Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, staff, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, patients, and external stakeholders, providing a high level of customer service and support.
  • Manage and coordinate an effective system to manage complaints, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling appointments, minute-taking, and administration of meetings.
  • Transcribe formal minutes of meetings, creating reports and spreadsheets using strong skills in Microsoft packages.
  • Manage and coordinate an effective system to manage complaints, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and SOPs within the customer services setting.
  • Hold a delegated budget for the purchase of administrative items within the customer services function and for the senior team.
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, face-to-face and non-facing customers.
  • Demonstrates good customer care skills at all times with a good working knowledge of office procedures.
  • Good organisational and planning skills using own initiative.
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload with the ability to adapt to change within the working situation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
  • Able to input data accurately and efficiently.
  • Undertake repetitive tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail.
