Willmott Dixon is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our central SHE team. The successful candidate will provide support within our London and the East region, covering project sites across the area.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor, advise, support, enforce, and report on standards of health, safety, and environment, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Ensure our sites stay up-to-date with current legislation and group policy and procedures, effectively communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
- Look for new and innovative ways of working to improve Health, Safety, and Environment performance and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
- Comply with the duties and responsibilities set out in Group H,S&E policies, ensuring compliance across the company, providing leadership and support to staff and supply chain on all such matters.
- Respond to all accidents and incidents within appropriate timescales, ensuring internal and statutory notifications are in place, providing sufficient detail to protect our business interests and give an accurate account of the root cause of the accident/incident along with details of corrective action.
- Promote and encourage excellent standards and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management within our business.
- Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
- CSCS Card
- FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal (ideally)
- Valid Driving licence
- Maintaining good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects.
