Event Area Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring operational and performance teams to deliver a world-class experience for our guests. Your area of responsibility will include managing the guest journey from The Elven Village to Compass' Lobby, ensuring a safe and best-in-class 'FC Land' operation in line with approved policy, processes, and instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the guest journey from The Elven Village to Compass' Lobby, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Lead and inspire operational and performance teams to deliver a world-class experience for our guests.
  • Ensure a safe and best-in-class 'FC Land' operation in line with approved policy, processes, and instruction.
  • Deliver pre-approved training courses to new and existing colleagues before and during the event.
  • Attend 'Train the Trainer' courses and other required training courses as determined by the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' experience working in event operations or visitor attraction operations.
  • A basic knowledge of KPI and customer insight data (e.g. dashboards, surveying, and mystery shoppers).

  • LIVE EVENT: In 2024, Lapland will run from 9th November – Saturday 24th December.
