Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Officer to join our Property and Facilities team at Stoke On Trent College. As an Estates Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the college premises to support the overall aims and visions of the College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Property and Facilities in the effective maintenance and development of the college premises.
  • Ensure that the facilities and overall environment fully support the overall aims and visions of the College.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to the college premises.
  • Manage and maintain the college's property and facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the college's sustainability and environmental impact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Property/building qualification to a recognised trade association (e.g. City and Guilds or NVQ).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
