Job Summary:

Lorien, a leading public sector client, is seeking a skilled Housing Officer to provide efficient, effective, and responsive housing management services within a designated work area. The successful candidate will ensure that services are delivered in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide housing management services, including tenancy management, management of anti-social behavior, estate management, and identification of tenancy support, advice, and referral to appropriate agencies.
  • To manage cases, maintain direct involvement, identify factors, and develop appropriate actions in line with priorities and practices.
  • To stay up-to-date with all relevant legislation and contribute to the overall performance of the Directorate through personal performance, cooperation with other groups, and support of initiatives as approved by the Strategic Manager - Housing Management.

Requirements:

  • Background in social renting housing income and experience in providing housing management services.
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and responsively within a designated work area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult and participate with tenants.
  • Ability to recover rent arrears and maximize rental and other income for all services.
