Corporate Actions Processing Specialist

As a key member of State Street's Corporate Actions division, you will play a vital role in managing the Corporate Actions activities for our global custody and middle office clientele, as well as investment managers across international markets.

Your responsibilities will include the precise capture and verification of corporate actions responses, executing Corporate Actions instructions in the market, posting client entitlements related to Corporate Actions, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring that reporting obligations are met within the established service level agreements and quality benchmarks.

In this global team environment, you will collaborate with colleagues and service providers across various time zones.

A foundational understanding of the complete Corporate Actions workflow is advantageous.

Comprehensive training will be provided.

The team you will join is part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS equips asset owners and managers with essential financial tools necessary for delivering effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration, and shareholder recordkeeping to comprehensive operational solutions and servicing for alternative assets such as OTC derivatives, private equity, and real estate, SSGS's offerings empower our clients to make informed investment decisions and seize growth opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

As a Corporate Actions Processing Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate within a global team, liaising with colleagues and service providers across different time zones.
  • Manage the processing of client responses for our global custody and middle office clients and investment managers.
  • Ensure accurate execution of Corporate Actions instructions in the market based on client elections.
  • Timely and precise posting of client entitlements related to Corporate Actions events.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure all daily responsibilities are fulfilled.
  • Compile and review daily reports.
  • Promptly escalate and resolve significant issues.
  • Engage in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Corporate Actions service.
  • Support a culture of 'Risk Excellence' within the organization.
  • Adhere to delegation limits and escalation protocols as required by your supervisor to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional client service.
