CERAP UK is seeking a skilled Radiation Protection Advisor to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Health Physics operating team, you will provide radiation protection advice to clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing safe systems to ensure appropriate standards of radiological safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide radiation protection advice to clients, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate operating environments and develop safe systems to ensure appropriate standards of radiological safety.
  • Participate in the development, testing, and evaluation of operating instructions and contingency arrangements.
  • Develop and motivate junior personnel within the Health Physics operating team.
  • Review operational HP data and initiate follow-up action as required.
  • Achieve visits to site and attend meetings with clients.
  • Promote services that CERAP can provide to clients.
  • Collaborate with the team in our international offices.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Competence to be a Radiation Protection Advisor.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a science subject.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the delivery of Radiation Protection Advice.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at a senior level.
  • Ability to work within an international team.
