Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate specializing in Peptide Chromatography. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in advanced HPLC techniques for the purification of peptides utilizing Reversed Phase Liquid Chromatography (RPLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive research program in Peptide Chromatography aimed at enhancing RPLC methodologies for the purification of industrial peptide reaction mixtures.
- Develop innovative and effective methods for peptide purification via RPLC, focusing on optimizing processes to address industrial impurities and loading levels.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of solution-based adsorption phenomena and their implications for chromatographic separation processes.
- Analyze complex organic liquid mixtures, particularly peptide reaction mixtures, with precision.
- Utilize significant expertise in RPLC and HPLC, alongside familiarity with high-resolution mass spectrometry.
- Prepare detailed reports for project sponsors.
- Present research findings at academic conferences.
- Submit scholarly articles to reputable journals.

- For candidates who have not yet officially received their PhD, the position will be designated as Research Assistant, with a salary range of £41,694–£44,888 per annum.
