Position: Fire and Security Engineer

Company Overview:

As an NSI Gold and BAFE approved entity, you will engage with advanced systems and collaborate with skilled engineers on significant client sites.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive basic salary up to £36,000
  • Opportunities for overtime
  • Standby pay of £145 per week
  • Incentive Bonus Scheme
  • Annual leave of 23 days plus bank holidays
  • Reimbursement for travel expenses after 30 minutes each way, with additional compensation for out-of-hours travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and servicing of Fire alarms, Access Control systems, Intruder alarms, Nurse Call systems, Door Entry systems, and CCTV installations
  • Occasional small-scale works on the aforementioned systems
  • Reporting directly to your Field Line Manager
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and promptly
  • Managing your workload, inventory, and vehicle responsibly

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Fire and Security Systems
  • Familiarity with British Standards and Health and Safety regulations
  • Possession of a Full UK Driving License
  • CSCS or ECS card is desirable but not mandatory
  • Manufacturer training is a plus but not essential
  • Capability to pass Security Screening
