About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineering Automation Lead to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Solutions Team, you will be responsible for delivering wider capability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4 engineers to deliver automation solutions using cloud technologies, such as AWS, EMR-FS, S3, SQS, and Lambda.
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps platforms like ADO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions and principles.
  • Design and implement test and regression automation frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data engineering, automation, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Python, and APIs.
  • Awareness of cloud OLAP platforms and SQL.
