Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineering Automation Lead to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Solutions Team, you will be responsible for delivering wider capability across the organization.

About the Role:

As a Data Engineering Automation Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 4 to deliver automation solutions using standard tooling to accelerate development and delivery. You will have expertise in data on cloud (AWS preferable) and experience with CI/CD & modern DEVOPS platforms like ADO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration experience with cloud technologies in AWS, EMR-FS, S3, SQS, Lambda (AWS preferable) from ADO.
  • Demonstrable experience in Jenkins, proficient in programming languages PYTHON, and understands data driven solutions and principles. Have done integrations before across technologies like ADO, JENKINS, STASH & JIRA.
  • Demonstrable experience across TEST/REGRESSION automation frameworks and integration is a must; Proficient in APIs.
  • Awareness of CLOUD OLAP platforms and demonstrable experience in SQL.
  • Proven Leadership and management experience; Previously worked within Financial services sector (preferred, not essential)
