About the Role
The Care Leader will be responsible for leading a small team of carers to deliver outstanding care to our residents with dementia. You will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and implement care plans, ensuring the highest standards of care are met. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in motivating and supporting your team to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of carers to deliver care to residents with dementia
- Plan and implement care plans to meet individual resident needs
- Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure high standards of care are met
- Motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional care
- Manage time effectively to balance supporting team members and ensuring resident wellbeing
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience of working in a residential care setting
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willing to study for)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to motivate and support team members
- Confident in taking charge and using initiative to resolve problems
