Avonbourne Care Centre is a leading provider of care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking an experienced Care Leader to join our team at Avon Court, our dementia care home located in the historic Old Sarum area of Salisbury.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Leader to lead our care team and deliver outstanding care to our residents. As a Care Leader, you will be responsible for planning and implementing care plans, supporting the Home Manager, and leading a team of carers. You will ensure that our residents receive a high level of care and support, and that our care teams are motivated and empowered to deliver the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of carers to deliver outstanding care to our residents
  • Plan and implement care plans to meet the needs of our residents
  • Support the Home Manager in the management of the care home
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external partners
  • Contribute to the development of care policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience of working in a residential care settingNVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)Excellent communication and leadership skillsA positive and supportive approach to care
