Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Encourage and facilitate social inclusion, enabling individuals to participate in community activities and develop meaningful relationships.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare and social care teams, to ensure comprehensive support and care.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in a care or support setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as required.
- Full driving license (desirable).
