Domestic Abuse Service Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Abuse Service Team Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who provide vital support services to individuals affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of professionals providing support services to individuals affected by domestic abuse
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage and develop a team of Independent Personal Advisors (IPAs) and Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Participate in the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Hold a CAADA/SafeLives IDVA training certificate or relevant degree
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role
  • Strong crisis management skills and ability to deal with stressful situations
  • Theoretical, practical, and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse
