Job Title: Senior Domestic Abuse Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Domestic Abuse Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals affected by domestic abuse.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and communities. You will work closely with our qualified staff to deliver high-quality care and support, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals affected by domestic abuse
  • Work closely with other agencies to ensure seamless referrals and support
  • Lead a team of IDVA's and manage referrals to ensure effective case management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of our domestic abuse support strategies and policies

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with victims of domestic and sexual abuse
  • Good knowledge of legislation and domestic abuse support strategies
  • Desirable: experience leading a team within a domestic abuse service and IDVA or QCF qualification
