Job Title: Lift Service Engineer

About the Role:

Orona, a leading provider of lift solutions, is seeking a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our team in Newquay and surrounding areas. As a key member of our Service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our lift systems, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the company's mission to deliver outstanding service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits to ensure optimal lift performance
  • Respond to lift breakdown callouts to carry out minor repairs and resolve issues efficiently
  • Build strong relationships with customers, meeting agreed response times and providing regular updates to the Service Manager
  • Participate in the regional 24/7 Standby/Callout rota, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Solve complex issues across a portfolio of Orona and competitor lifting equipment, including basic LG1 examinations
  • Work independently, using problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve service delivery
