About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment. As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions to support the development of cutting-edge equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic solutions for defined requirements
  • Select and evaluate components and parts
  • Generate test, interface, and supplier documentation
  • Assist the test department in initial first-of-class (prototype) testing
  • Author reports, give presentations, and meet with clients and management
Person Specification

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skillsets:

  • HND or a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Experience in circuit design, simulation, layout, testing, and evaluation for prototypes and production units
  • Knowledge of PCB layout software is highly desirable
  • Ability to design wiring interconnection systems
  • Ability to create interface and equipment specifications
  • Ability to create test specifications for designs, testing, and to support interdepartmental testing of equipment
