Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a key member of our estates services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and effective support to meet their needs.
- Monitor and manage maintenance works, ensuring minimal disruption to staff and students.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school and departmental leaders.
- Track and report on works and projects, providing regular updates to the Task Tracker.
- Book and attend regular stakeholder meetings, supporting the Head of Customer Service and Partnership Director.
- Conduct regular building inspections, safety and compliance checks, and planned maintenance.
- Report any issues to the Service Centre and monitor progress as needed.
- Calmly and effectively deal with complaints, working with customers to resolve their issues.
- Produce monthly reports on ongoing works and impacts, scheduled meetings, and potential risks.
- Line manage the Facilities Coordinator, overseeing their day-to-day administration tasks.
- Oversee and facilitate events, general teaching space, and other ad-hoc business needs.
- Work closely with contractors, supporting the booking of works and minimizing impact on customers.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also need to be highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support major events and projects.
