About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fostering Registered Manager to lead our dedicated and passionate independent Fostering Agency in Slough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing foster carer recruitment, assessment, supervision, training, and ongoing support for both carers and the children and young people in their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic development and operational management of our fostering services
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including The Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and the National Minimum Standards for Fostering
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain the highest standards of care and operational excellence within the agency
  • Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional care and support to foster carers and the children and young people in their care
Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England, with proven experience in a similar role within fostering services.

A strong understanding of the regulatory standards and best practice is essential for this role.
