Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
The Andretti Cadillac Team is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join their team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the car control systems and their supporting systems during trackside events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement vehicle control system calibrations for trackside events
- Monitor control systems at trackside events to ensure reliable operation
- Collaborate with Race and Performance Engineers to optimize control system performance
- Ensure compliance with FIA technical regulations for all control system operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system faults
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Experience with vehicle control systems management and calibration
- Proficiency in model-based software design using Matlab Simulink
- Knowledge of motorsport data logging systems, ideally F1 SECU
- Understanding of automotive electronic systems, CAN, and sensing technologies
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
